Understanding the Users
Target Users and pain points
According to our research, we find three kinds of target audiences: students, salarymen, and older and disabled adults.

"I am a student with plenty of money to spend, and I love enjoying junk food and trying out new technologies. I often share my experiences with friends, and party food is a big part of my social life."
"I am a busy professional with a stable job, but I hardly have any time to cook lunch or dinner. I rely on quick and convenient meals like coffee and pizza to get through my workday."
"As an older or disabled adult, I want to improve my quality of life and have equal access to delicious food. I appreciate when technology makes things more convenient and helps me enjoy my meals."
Research Summary
The cross-platform one-stop app will be made up of desktop, mobile and smartwatch apps based on a user-centered design approach:

03
On the desktop side, we pay attention to a more convenient, clear ordering process, so that users clearly and intuitively understand the current dishes, and make choices.
In the design of the mobile app, we emphasise the way of interaction with the food delivery robot, highlighting the experience of the new concept of robot delivery.
On the smartwatch side, we're focusing on a convenient and secure way to track and pick up food, with hands-free tracking.

Online Ethnography Finds
-
The frequency of usage is not directly mentioned, but the high number of detailed complaints suggests regular use.
-
Users find some settings in the apps not useful, indicating possible issues with the ordering process. Payment options are not specifically mentioned.
-
Is delivery on schedule? Is the food delivered in good condition? Is there any meal spilling out?
-Deliveries are often delayed, resulting in lukewarm or cold food.
-Some orders get mixed up or picked up by other users.
-Meals are occasionally stolen or destroyed by drivers.
-
The after-sales system is not perfect; feedback problems are not always resolved effectively.
Problem Statement

How can we streamline order management to reduce delays, ensure food quality, manage costs, and enhance customer feedback resolution, especially for users with accessibility needs, while leveraging innovative technology and supporting multiple digital platforms?
